Carvoeiro Portugal, the Hidden and the Romantic

One of my most favorite beaches in Portugal is in Carvoeiro but it isn’t the main beach like you might think (the main beach in town is quite stunning). Take a trek to the more remote parts the to north and the south of this cute little town to find quiet hidden beaches and charming coves. My favorite is just south of town about a mile away.

As you explore you’ll see stunning orange cliffs which melt into to hidden coves and secret swimming holes carved into the sandstone.
